i know this topic came up before but i want to state for those who deal with Pride as being a deacon, here are two psalms the Priest reads before he puts on his vestments.. Psalm 29 and the Last Psalm of the 6th hour.. |

tell me about it... even Satan fell for it, didn' he. It is the most dangerous sin. That's a personal opinion though. |

I believe all people should have pride....  )! Not only pride for ourselves but for our brothers and sisters. God is our pride. He was crucified for us...what else deserves our pride? After that, whatelse matters? The deacon's pretty voice or knowledge of hymns, is it the nice cars or name brand clothes? After we have pride in our Lord, everything else we have pride in is worthless.
God bless all of us and show us the pride of His salvation!
