Dear coptichymns.net Members and Visitors,
It was only 5 months ago when we debuted coptichymns.net version 2.0, which represented a major innovation in the growth of coptichymns.net, which is only a little over 1 year old.
Under v. 2.0, coptichymns.net has grown more than twofold in membership, from 1,100 pre-v. 2.0 to 2,500 in the present day. We are happy so many of you visit and rely upon coptichymns.net for your needs.
Today, we present the design for coptichymns.net v. 3.0, the third major release in just over 1 year. Our commitment to the Church, Copts, and the use of technology to improve both is quite pronounced in this release. For example, the entire site loads much, much faster than previous versions and is constrained to a width that allows visitors with older PCs to enjoy the site at 800 x 600 resolution. Also, the general look is much cleaner and lighter, which hopefully provides a more heavenly feel and approach to Coptic hymns.
While the v. 3.0 design is online, it is not complete, and v. 3.0 itself is FAR from being finished. The most important part of v. 3.0 is its new features and content, which have yet to be added.
Our goal now is to present the new design to you, tweak it, fix bugs, and then start adding v. 3.0 features. Until then, some features may not render correctly (Photo Gallery and Spirituality feature section) while others may be missing (Quickshout.)
Rest assured that we are working hard to bring back and improve all of the old content. This is an ongoing process that requires your patience.
In the meantime, please enjoy the faster and more innovative design of coptichymns.net v. 3.0.
