Hello,
In a couple of weeks, I will be opening an online Coptic Icon Store!!!
(selling original hand-painted coptic icons)
I wanted to ask everybody, for your support and your prayers, and for some input...
You can call it a survey (with only one question)...What are the top 3 icons u would have in ur house...it can be anything from an icon of Our Lord Jesus Christ, to the Virgin Mary, to Old testament stories, to New Testament events/feasts to saints, martyrs, angels...anything....I just want to get an idea of what people want, so that i can efficiently stock up (it takes time to write/paint these icons, so the more I have in stock, the faster they get delivered...

Cool idea Mina!
1-The Crucifixion
2-The Theotokos and
3-The last supper would be my top 3 icons at home.
It would be nice to have them in different shapes and sizes.

Interesting. What are your profits? I'll get rid of your competition for 110% profit. Them ob will do you a favour only if you do us a favour  .
I'd be happy with any Icon really. The icon's I really like are the ones of my favorite siants, all in my room, not in my house, but the roo mis in the house lol. No such thing as top three, really. |

hope all goes well.
i love icons of the Holy Family entry into Egypt...those icons rule...
but theres heappppsss of maadd ones like the annunciation is realy good.
theyre all good and the saint ones are always more popular, i guess.

i need more replies with the answer to my original question (top 3 u would buy...mathitis, i know they're all amazing, but if u had enough money to only buy 3, what would they be???)

May God bless your efforts. The top 3 icons i would personally like are:
1) St. Paul the First Anchorite (reason should be self evident  )
2) Christ as Pantocrator
3) St. Anthony the Great (thrown in for good measure )

u know what we seldom see .... and what i extremely WANT ..... a picture of john the baptist . ..but not the picture where all used to thats in all our churches .. like maybe u can get an artist to do a whole diffrent drawing of john the baptist .. i mean like a variety of pictures of him.

hey mina,
this sounds like a great idea. i find it hard to get icons online especially handpainted ones.. but maybe im just looking in the wrong places however the three icons i would most likely buy are....
1) Christ enthroned
2)St. Bishoy pi Khristoferos
3)The Theotokos
i probably would also go for the father's icons too because i dont see alot of them and so i think they would be really cool to own

hey mina... u needa have the great church fathers, st athanasius, st cyril, st dioscorus, st basil, st gregory, st john chrysostom, st augustine... st ephriam the syrian and st isaac teh syrian would be nice... also, david the psalmist is always a great pic... one where he is playing his harp would be nice... and a pop kyrillos icon would be real nice |

If you can get a Coptic icon with both St. Augustine and St. Monica together, that would be wonderful.

I don't have an Icon or a picture of him, but I read his story in the paradise of the fathers and I loved it. he's the one that was under St. Anthony's wing. |

I think I'm going to stock up on all the standard icons....(Pantokrator, Theotokos, Biblical stuff, well known saints)...and I will add a section for custom orders....so that anything you don't see on the site or anywhere else can be done...
