John, to record an audio source, I usually use Nero Wave Editor. Other programs that can be used include Sony Soundforge and Audacity (which is free I think). Or, you can use the windows buit-in sound recorder but make sure you select source you're recording from through the audio set-up in the control panel. |

I agree with George... On this site, at least, there is a reason that certain audio files have been made streaming rather than downloadable. For example, with some of the spiritual songs available in streaming audio, the churches sell CDs with those songs, with the proceeds to go toward church projects. They allow us to share their beautiful praises, but those wishing to own the songs should respect the church's request and purchase the CD. |

Carol, I think what John meant is how to record from a live broadcast, and that's what I actually understood. I don't think it's right to record from a streaming source either unless it's a live broadcast like a liturgy or a sermon, and I don't think there's something wrong with that, is there? |

A simple Google search for Record Streaming Audio would answer your question. I see nothing wrong with recording Live sermons/liturgies |

You can search for streamripper32 in google. It is a very simple, free program. Just enter the URL of the streaming audio and pick where you want the mp3 to be sent. Hope that helps.
Sincerely,
George |
