I am in a movie , and i am playing the Role of our lord , JESUS christ.
I did this role before , but i was / am not satisfied nor do i like the way i did the movie last time , part of the reasons is because , i did not see the counsel of others .
so here i am .
how do you think god will act when judging the good and bad people .
for example ... after god condemns someone to hell , will god be sad , that he condemned his child to hell ? so would i show a sad face ?
i am also writing some of the script ,.... please give me some key phrases as to what you think god will say ....
such as " oh blessed of my fathers children , come and inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundations of the world. "
like i need guidance .. i need advice ...
the directors of the movie arent that great at directing the actors , so i am comming here for help
if u need more information in order to give me feedback let me know
please pray for this project.
this time next year , you might see my movie in national theaters , now that a millionare has invested in this movie . |

ahh good stuff Tony!
This is good that you are asking for ideas and stuff.
anyways with English here at school we learn about Techniques and Effects used by the director to the Veriwers.. anyways this may be relevant yet to easy for directors, I will type up what Camera shots/angles used by directors in a movie and how they effect the veiwers. It may not be helpful in anyway, but hey its good to type it coz it helps in my exams 
Camera Shots:
Head Shot - A close-up shot, the head shot reveals facial expression and provokes an audience response.
Two Shot - Also called a medium shot, it often includes two people and can be used to suggest a relationship eg. Confrontation, intimacy.
Long Shot - Establishes background and context and may suggest distance.
High angle shot - Camera is in a high position looking down on the subject. Suggests insignificance of subject.
Low angle shot - Camera is in a ow position looking up at a subject. Suggests power or large size of subject.
Zoom shot - Camera zooms in to a close-up. Gives audience a sense of 'moving in' for a revealing moment.
Panning shot - Camera stands still and moves across the subject. Gives context and a sweeping veiw.
Other Features are:
Lighting - Lights utilise colour and can be spread or focused to attain particular effects of mood and emotion.
Sound effects and incidental music - Are important in establishing mood and manipulating responses. Cliches of music can reinforce the visual representation without the audience consciously knowing it. Sound effects can suggest realism or a particular response eg. humour. |

Hello Toni,
I think the main reason why you are not satisfied with your acting is the fact that you are thinking about the movie too much. Think of God, What is He like? is He an angry God? is He a loving God? or is He Love? or is He wrath? or is He a Mix of all? I will give you my view, but I would rather you come up with your own from your own treasures.
I first don't imagine that God is Going to Judge each one individually, or at least not as we would imagine it, but as the Light shines it shows the filth in each one, and that is the individual Judgment. Those Who have accepted Christ as their Saviour and chose to Hide in His Blood will see no condemnation, but Christ will wipe every tear from their eyes by his own hands, and will look at them saying "Come you blessed of My Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you before the foundation of the earth" and as He is taking them and leaving the rest, the rest will run after him saying "what about us? we have preached your name we have even cast out demons in Your Name" then Christ will Look at them "indeed you may have, but you have refused the Only Ticket to Heaven; You may have brought others to God, but ye didn't enter through the gate of the sheep, you may have given drink to people from the water of Life, but have not drank from it yourself; you have done the Commandments, but have rejected the core one 'Love the Lord your God'." At this point His eyes will be filled with tears as he says, "Who are you? I do not Know you. Go away from me you cursed ones!” Those who are Left Behind will be weeping exceedingly and gnashing their teeth from the extreme sadness to have missed the opportunity. Don't think that the Devil will be happy and will rule over them at this point, for the devil himself will be condemned and God will be the Only King over all Creatures. AMEN
Sorry to have made this So long, but it is a very joyful day for us who are in Christ Jesus for There is no condemnation upon us (Romans 8:1) "Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!" (Revelation 22:20)
Please do not take this Material and think of the movie, take it and think about yourself and where you will stand (This is not a message for you Toni, but a message for all who read this)

great advice mgeorge , please beleive that i will use your advice in the movie .
perhaps i will continuiously post in this thread my questions throughout the movie making .
my last movie on the same subject was good , but i hated my scenes , and my look in the movie ,
i was just working with stubborn directors ,
for example , he didnt want jesus to have long hair . this automatically takes away from the feeling of " yeah this is jesus "
probably the most effective protrayal of jesus is ROBERT POWELLS ADAPTION IN THE MOVIE jesus of nazerth .
how did he do it ?
ugh , this is such a hard task . |

i am writing part of the script , and i need to write dialog .
the particular scene where i need help is Where jesus has a final scream against the devil , this is where jesus screams at the devil , then orders his angels to chain him up and to lock him forever in hell .
the dialog i have so far is
""
Jesus - Bring satan before me now ...
Jesus - Your judgement has come , No more shall you decieve my creation ! , Woe to you .... you thief,for you stole the blessed life from my children ! you made mankind sin , steal ,murder and betray one another ! Woe on to you ! Who are you oh Prideful satan ! I am the king of kings , the king of glory , the son of god , and you will know my name is the lord , when i lay my vengence upon thee .
cast and bound him forever into the eternal fire ..... with his children ! ""
Please your advice and suggestions are really needed . soon . |
