Hey everyone,

I just started a book recently about prayer by Archbishop Anthony Bloom called Beginning to Pray. So far it's really good and I was wondering if anyone has read it before or has anything to say about it..

Thanks in advance! Wink

It just so happens that this is the same as one of the books that were assigned to the Philadelphia Competition. It is a very good book with some very good insight. However, the author does give instruction on a very deep level of example. I mean he doesn't outright say, " Step #1: do this and this and Step #2: so and so." Rather he states the steps in a very mysterious way and then clarifies them using examples. When I say mysterious I mean something with a very deep meaning that one cannot just deduce from the words themselves.
