And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted
IF jesus was in front of them , and they saw him with their own eyes ..... why were they doubtful ?
What do they mean by doubtful ... like .. they cant beleive it , cuz it was amazing ? , or because they didnt beleive it was christ ? .....Is this verse just an example of what thomas the disciple went through ? |

It is more a reference of their disbelief of the reports of the resurrection that they were hearing of.
It is mentioned in all the Gospels of their unbelief and Jesus rebuking them because they did not believe until they saw. (see Mark 16:14) In the Gospel of Luke even after they saw Him, they still thought He was a ghost until He ate to prove His flesh was real.
