Hello,
I've been to different churches who do different things; is Tishouri said on the weekends of Lent? Is it said on weekends of other the fasts (Nativity, Apostles, St. Mary, etc.)? |

Yes tishori is said on the weekends of the Great lent as well as Je efmevi instead of Fai pe Pi. Entho te tishori is said during the week and Eiei is said instead of je efmevi. |

Since my question was never really answered, let me specify it... In the WEEKENDS of the Apostle's Fast and St. Mary's Fast, do we say Tishouri or Taishouri? |

Hello Mr. Egyptianhomeboy,
The hymn Tishoury is said on wednesdays and fridays of annual days, as well as monday-friday through most fasts (not Lent or fast of Nineveh), and saturdays and sundays of the Great Lent and the feast of the cross. I am pretty sure albier mentions this on the cd's so feel free to double check. To make it clear, everything you say on apostles fast, excluding the hymns ondos, niromi, enthoten, and asomen, is annual. I think the same is for st. Mary's fast as well.
God bless
