Is Mashenak the Sha3neeni Exposition or is it the Exposition Response? Which is which?

Mashenak is said before the reading of the exposition. Once you say that, then you read the exposition in the language of interpretation. The response is Wsanna.

Anybody know the deal with the difference in words in Mashenak? I noticed grammatical differences between M. Fahim and Albair's DSB (nitwou, outwou; chas, chisi; en, ente).
