What exactly was Christ doing and what was his state of being between the Resurrection and the ascension. He appeared to his Apostles 3 times in His glorified body/state and ate with them and talked with them but what else was He doing if He had not yet ascended?

Christ did not only appear to them three times during the 40 days but during the entire 40 days he was constantly appearing to them, He was most likely strengthening their belief that he truly rose as well as preparing for the huge ministry they would do after Pentecost. The Bible cannot possibly state everything that christ ever did for it would be impossible

I agree with jydeacon.
Christ taught them and preached to them. Christ must have told them what they were about to encounter with all of the teaching that the apostles and disciples would be doing.

Quote:
John 21:25
"And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen."

to answer the question "what was his state of being", i really don't know because after the resurrection when Mary Magdalene saw Him, He told her "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father" (John 20:17) but it also says in the bible that He appeared to the disciples many times and ATE with them

if anyone has an answer please reply
