Khristos Anesti, Alithos Anesti.
Christ is risen, Truly He is risen!

All,

There is a brand new Coptic Hymns survey that is now available for the Holy Week and the Feast of the Resurrection for 2008. It is online, completely anonymous, and is easily completed by selecting multiple choice answers.

Here is the URL for the survey:

http://FreeOnlineSurveys.com/rendersurvey.asp?sid=fgwzkoiheghr1bv431447

The survey will be available for 10 days so please make every effort to visit the site and answer the questions. The more participation the better the results will be. All questions are optional but the more you answer the better the results will be.

Results will be reported in 10 days on this site, so stay tuned.

God Bless

One of the questions asks if Avchnon was chanted in the original tune. Is that referring to the Shamy tune, or something else I dont know about?

Ramez,

My apologies for the lack of clarity regarding that question. The original tune refers to the Shamy tune.

I have clarified what 'original tune' refers to in the survey itself as well.

Any other questions or points of clarification are welcome from anyone.

This is the last chance to respond to the survey. It will be closing soon.

Tony,

I will post the results (probably as an attachment) in this thread. I have been attempting to make the results visible in real-time but it appears that that capability does not exist.
