The Coptic hymns and Coptic language committee is one from churchlike life “Hayah Kanasia” groups. The committe serves in youth bishopric under the supervision of HG Bishop Avva Moses and HG Bishop Avva Raphael.
The committee is composed from a group of youth servants, cantors from Dedimous Institue, and Coptic languages teachers.
The Coptic hymns and Coptic language committee serves the Coptic youth not only in Cairo nor in Egypt only, but all over the world. This committee aims to increase the knowledge of the importance of the Coptic hymns and Coptic language, through annual conventions, annual competitions (Mahragan), encourages the talented children through a special competition, and for the priests there is a special convention to learn the hymns of the liturgies.
